For Wings, 'Health Meets Care' also means reaching out to people who cannot afford quality health-care. In fact, Wings started with the philosophy of bringing quality medicines at affordable prices to ensure that everyone can benefited from its endeavors. And what better way to do it than through established and reputed channels.
With that aim, Wings started the Institutional Product Division through which Wings actively seeks out government tenders to reach out its medicines to the poor.
Wings excellent track-record in manufacturing medicines and the company’s commitment to timely supply has helped Wings bag many contracts with top government institutions, all across India. To name just a few, Wings caters to AIIMS Deilhi, Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation Jaipur, Punjab Health System Corporation Mohali, Armed Forces Medical Store Depot DelhiCantt/Lucknow/Mumbai and Chattisgarh Medical Services Corporation Raipur.
Wings is committed to building long-term relationships and keep supplying quality medicines to the government institutions on time.
Wings makes healthcare affordable but not at the cost of quality. In fact, the 3 plants that Wings has in Himachal have earned certification from WHO and GMP for employing best manufacturing practices.
Besides earning certifications, Wings excellent track-record and high standards in manufacturing process has also earned the company contracts from leading pharmaceutical giants to manufacture for them and to become their outsourcing partner. At present, we manufacture many products for leading pharmaceutical companies across the globe.
Quality healthcare shouldn't be a privilege. To make it available to everyone, Wings has taken its products to all nooks and corners of India.
On an overseas trip, a senior Wings Board Member observed that the need for quality, affordable medicines was as acute in other markets as it was in India. Set up in line with the country’s vision of Make in India and reach its products across international markets, this new division has paved the way for Wings to reach new horizons and cater to new markets.
Today Wings products are available in Bhutan and Sri Lanka, and will soon also be available in markets such as Afghanistan, Uganda and Vietnam. The vision is to reach many more countries across the globe. The growth of this division would mean that we are inching closer to our dream of providing quality heath-care for everyone.
The division has crossed a major milestone in this journey when it recently won one of its biggest tenders from Sri Lankan Government.
