Wings products travel far and wide, to every corner of the country. On this occasion it travelled 100 kms.
How it started
Every year in India, lakhs of devotees called Kanwars walk across states on foot, to pay their respects to lord Shiva, an Indian mythological God. The journey is physically-challenging, where the Kanwars cover hundreds of kilometers on foot, under the blazing sun. Goes without saying that it takes a toll on their body. Someone from our CSR team saw a big opportunity there to reach out to these people. An opportunity to lessen their pain.
And what better way to do it than by using India's No. 1 selling analgesic tablet.
Diclowin's journey to the holy city. Haridwar.
In the month of Sawan, lakhs of Kanwars travel from all over India to Haridwar. In the year 2012, our CSR team, loaded with Diclowin Plus, decide to travel with them. For 5 days, our team travelled with the Kanwars from Haryana. Only stopping where they did, not to rest but to relieve the pain of the wary travellers by giving them free Diclowin Plus tablets and balms. Along with them, our journey also ended in the holy city of Haridwar.
We distributed a total of 5.44L tablets and 2.26L tubes of Diclowin Plus.
Baba Baidyanath Dham Yatra. A repeat performance.
Encouraged by previous year's success, our CSR team decided to travel again. This time to Baba Baidyanath Dham.
In the year 2013, in the Baba Baidyanath Dham yatra, we travelled with the Kanwars in their 100 km journey from Bihar to Jharkhand. A van loaded with Diclowin Plus tablets and Diclowin Plus balm followed them. So that someone in pain could have immediate access to it.
We also set up camps at various points on their route, that provided free Diclowin Plus tablets and balms to the needy. The doctor at the camps were also there to help them out.
Lakhs of Kanwars approached us with pain in the legs, back, shoulders and various other parts of the body. Our willing volunteers and doctors gave them Diclowin Pus for free. In total, we supplied 5.76L tablets and 4.80L tubes of Diclowin Plus.
